HOW TO TAKE SUPPLEMENTS TO STAY LEAN, STRONG & HEALTHY
Thu, 16 August 2012
Steve Walker, USN's Fitness Ambassador shares his Top 5 tips and strategies on how to incorporate supplementation into your training regime!
  1. Always allow for appropriate rest, don’t train the same body part two days in a row. USN's Pure Glutamine will help with muscle recovery, maintenance and can also help immunity. I take 5 grams before and after training. You can also take an extra serve before breakfast or before bed to enhance recovery.
  2. Training with heavy weights will stimulate more growth. To gain the energy to do so, USN’s Creatine Monohydrate will help in achieving this. I Take 5 grams every day. On training days I have 2.5 grams before training and 2.5 after training. Be sure to drink plenty of water!
  3. Don’t follow what everyone else does; you have to find what works for you. We all have different bodies with their own strengths and weaknesses. Don’t be scared to try things you have never done before. Try USN’s Hyperbolic Mass if you are finding it hard to put on size..you may be astonished with the results! If I feel that I’m getting too lean I’ll have 2-3 serves after training to enhance the anabolic influence of resistance training.
  4.  Keep your training short but efficient (under an hour). USN’s 100% Whey Protein and Pure Protein IGF-1 helps building lean muscle 24 horus a day. I have a serve of 100% Whey Protein post training and 1 serve of Pure Protein IGF-1 before bedtime to keep my muscles anabolic all day long.
  5. Train smart and supplement even smarter! With USN’s world renowned supplements, my body gets exactly what it needs in building lean muscle, aiding recovery and helping me achieve my goals.

Steve began training in the gym since the early age of 15, and took his love for health & fitness to a whole new level by competing in body building. Since 2008, he has competed in both INBA and ANB, and currently training to compete again in 2013. Stay tuned for more helpful tips and info from Steve!
