Rachel has worked in the fitness industry for the past 12 years in both the UK and Australia giving her a deep insight into health, exercise and conditioning specifically for sport and performance and health and aesthetic purposes.
In the UK, Rachel worked within the NHS as a rotational physiotherapist and supplemented clinical work through employment with high performance sports people and teams.
Her passion for strength training brought her to Sydney, Australia where she is now regarded as one of Sydney’s most popular female trainers and physical therapists. As Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Platinum Extreme MMA Gym, Rachel combines 1:1 training, physical therapy and management of the club.
Rachel is also an International lecturer of the FMA Strength Training Certification Program currently lecturing in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. To top it all off, she has 7 years experience as a Fitness model and has competitive experience in Figure: Fitness Model and IFBB Bikini model.
"I am very excited in becoming USN Australia’s newest edition to Fitness Ambassador”, Rachel says. "I have been using USN since I was 16 or 17 back in the UK, so to be representing the brand now is fantastic. I am so looking forward to helping others achieve their goals and become happier and healthier”.
Rachel’s opinion about supplements is simple. "Supplements really are the icing on the cake. Good nutrition and hard training come first followed closely by supplementation. Unfortunately today's food is not what it used to be, even if you eat organic and pesticide free veggies. Essential nutrients are missing from the soil and therefore missing from our food.”
USN and Rachel Guy will work closely together to educate and inspire people about incorporating training and good nutrition into a healthy lifestyle.
