THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PROGRESS AND PERFORMANCE

Progress and performance go hand-in-hand but from a nutrition perspective they are supported by two different things!

Your pre-workout nutrition choices that fuel your upcoming session are directly related to your performance during that time. If you don’t fuel your body effectively before you train, you are not going to perform at the standard you should.

Your post-workout nutrition choices that replenish your body after training are key in your recovery processes and therefore your ability to develop and progress. Sporting progression, whether in strength or speed, is your adaptive response to training so therefore recovery has a key role here.

Do you have set pre and post-workout routines when it comes to your nutrition?
